AMTRON Drone School, established as the first Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) authorized Remote Pilot Training Organisation (RPTO) in Northeast India, is a pioneering institution dedicated to advancing drone technology and training in the region. As an initiative of AMTRON (Assam Electronics Development Corporation Ltd.), this drone school is set to revolutionize the field of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) by providing comprehensive and professional training to aspiring drone pilots.

Comprehensive 5-Day Training Program

The AMTRON Drone School offers a rigorous and structured 5-day course designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to operate drones safely and efficiently. The course covers a wide range of topics, including:

• Introduction to Drones and UAVs: Understanding the basics of drone technology, types of drones, and their applications.
• Regulations and Compliance: In-depth coverage of DGCA regulations, airspace restrictions, and legal aspects of drone flying in India.
• Drone Components and Maintenance: Detailed study of various drone components, their functions, and maintenance practices.
• Flight Training: Hands-on training sessions for mastering drone piloting skills, including take-off, landing, maneuvering, and emergency procedures.
• Mission Planning and Execution: Techniques for planning and executing drone missions for various purposes such as aerial photography, surveying, and surveillance.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experienced instructors and gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art drones. Our training covers multiple classes and categories of drone operation under DGCA, Govt. of India:

• Micro Class/Category Drone: Training for operating drones weighing up to 2 kg.
• Small Class/Category Drone: Instruction for handling drones weighing between 2 kg and 25 kg.
• Medium Class/Category Drone: Advanced training for drones weighing between 25 kg and 50 kg.
• Train the Trainer: Specialized program designed to train future drone instructors.

Mandatory Documents For Admission:

To ensure a streamlined admission process, prospective trainees are required to submit the following mandatory documents:

• Matriculation Pass Marksheet: Proof of educational qualification.
• Two Copies of Passport Size Photos: Recent photographs for identification purposes.
• AADHAAR Card: Government-issued unique identification card.
• PAN Card: Permanent Account Number card for financial identification.
• Valid Indian Passport (If Available): Proof of citizenship and international identification.
• Medical Fitness Certificate: Certificate of medical fitness, with the format provided during admission.
• Final Certification/ License: Issued by the DGCA, Government of India upon successful completion of the course and assessment.

Certification And Licensing:

Upon successful completion of the 5-day training program and passing the necessary assessments, participants will receive their certification and license from the DGCA, Government of India. This certification is essential for legally operating drones in India and is recognized across the country.
