To enable the benefit of e-governance and e-commerce percolate down to the grassroots level, the Digital Saksharta Abhiyan (DISHA) or the National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) was formulated by the Government of India. To enable the project to have far reaching impact, and to provide support to the mission, the Government of Assam has initiated the Digital Literacy Program in the State, in line with the NDLM and DISHA.
